Kila Country Church
About Us
Kila Country Church is an autonomous New Testament church with leadership according to the pattern of church leadership chronicled in Acts 14:23.  We are associated with the Southern Baptist Convention of Montana who hold firmly to the principle of church autonomy and self-rule, yet bring together like-minded people to work together in friendly cooperation.  Our desire in Christ is for you to feel “…you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone.” Ephesians 2:19-20.  We also believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and in the assurance of salvation (1 John 5:13, Romans 8:1-2).  Our prayer is that each be taught the true word of God and that each be able to verify this teaching through one’s own study of the Scriptures.  Think about the question for a moment “How many of each animal did Noah take on the Ark?” and most people will answer 2 because that is what they have heard, but when we look at Genesis 7:2-3 we learn that “You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and his female;  also of the birds of the sky, by sevens, male and female, to keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth.”

Our focus

The focus at Kila Country Church is a two-fold focus or approach to our lives.  One part of our focus is on the development and maturing of each child of God through discipleship.  The discipleship is done through one on one interaction, small groups, prayer, quiet time, Bible study, and worship.  The second focus is of our lives involves going and doing as we seek to live what we learn.  We want to reach the lost, help the hurting, feed the hungry, remember the widows and orphans,  love our neighbors, and love God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind.
